About the Designer
Mònica Losada is a Spanish graphic designer based in NYC. Previously in Studio Dumbar, she is currently working in Pentagram.
Her work revolves around communication, print and typographic design supported by the process of research and experimentation.
As an independent designer, Mònica has worked for FAD (The Fostering Arts and Design association) and Wired Magazine.
Her work has been recognized by the Type Directors Club, Communication Arts and the ADG-FAD Laus awards. Additionally, she has been featured in It’s Nice That, Slanted Magazine, Typeroom, Gràffica, Creative Review and the Communication Arts magazine. Mònica has also given talks in festivals such as Inscript and Type Thursday Barcelona.
