Master of Cultural and Media Studies

Cultural Media Studies describes in an all-encompassing way how life is defined by and through culture and media and which strategies can be used to approach them. It focusses on images and sounds, intermedia and transcultural processes, ideas of subject, body, gender, language, media, locations and cultures. Cultural Media Studies examines the impact of social ascriptions, culturally specific sign systems, media practices, identity concepts and policies.
