About the Event
Amid the neon glow of Frankfurt’s red-light district, a young man drifts between two worlds: the gritty underbelly of the city and a tender relationship with his girlfriend Charlie. By day, he’s a dreamer; by night, a runner for shady street figures. Torn between loyalty, violence, and longing, “Dream-Man” struggles to stay grounded. But when Charlie walks away, one question remains: Will he ever return to her reality – or is he destined to drift away for good?
The short film “Dream-Man”, directed by AVA alumni Takke Twins, will be screened on Wednesday, July 30 at 18:00 at the Academy of Visual Arts, Frankfurt.
As their largest production to date, Dream-Man has received awards in both Berlin and Milan. The screening will be followed by a Design Talk with the directors, offering insights into their creative process. Entry is free.
