OVERVIEW

The certificate studies offer interdisciplinary studies to students whose interests are best explored at the intersection of creative practice and social action. Students with a professional background are enabled to enhance and widen their design skills and portfolio. Certificate courses are small group seminars.

The faculty are leaders in their fields with a deep commitment to scholarship, social engagement, and public intellectual work. The program is an excellent preparation for postgraduate studies in the fields of Visual Arts and Design. Projects can take the form of academic research, book development, film, digital projects, exhibitions and more.

FACULTY

But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.
