Structure of Studies

The course of studies is divided into foundation studies (3 semesters) and main studies (5 semesters). After the third semester the achievements made to date are reflected on and individual professional prospects discussed.

The main studies (5 semesters) are organized as project classes and are to be seen as an open laboratory for thinking and experimentation with a practical connection. In cooperation with partners from culture and industry and in block sessions complex tasks are accompanied and realized in interdisciplinary teams from conception through to production. Information scientists, psychologist, management experts and architects are prominently involved in the seminars and help students develop innovative solutions.

Individually composed theory modules and specialist classes complement the project work and provide a conceptual foundation for the design process. All project classes are personally supervised and accompanied by the management.
